She opened her mouth to speak, but the sound that came out was little more than a primal grunt. Piercing green eyes lifted to meet hers. Beth stared back, idly wondering how long her wobbly legs would support her. Mr. Travis was quite possibly the most breathtakingly handsome man she had ever seen.
